Hugged.

About a week ago, I had a teenage hormonal meltdown at my friends house.
His mom, who has become my second mom, came over to me and hugged me.

She just wrapped her arms around me and said nothing.

She hugged me even though I was being emotional.
Even though I was only thinking of my own problems.

She hugged me even though I had just said I hated her son.

She hugged me because she knew I needed it, even if I didn't deserve it.

That's love.

  1. The other day I saw something that reminded me of this blog.
I was in Primary, and the teacher asked the kids if they had something that was special to them. The music teachers-a husband and wife-were sitting up at the front, holding hands. The wife nodded her head yes in answer to the question, and pointed to her husband. Her husband nodded too, and lifted their joined hands to kiss her on the back of her hand. It was very sweet. They didn't see me watching, they didn't do it for anyone but themselves.
    Love exists.
